Downloading music files in to the iTunes library Hey all I want to have the songs I download go directly in to my iTunes library...any ideas? Cheers |
http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=36230 The above link should help .. If you still have problems please let us know if you use Mac or Windows and which version Limewire and iTunes |
Hobo Although I did find some very useful info on the link I may not have been specific enough. When I download songs they end up in an iTunes folder called "What's new", I then have to select the songs and add them to the iTunes library. Is there a way I can skip that step and have the songs go directly in to the library? I'm using Limewire version 4.9.30 but I have no idea what versoin of iTines I have (I did install it in the last month or so). Thanks again Cheers |
I gather you are using windows ... The What's new folder is a new one on me possibly for that reason. You can find out your iTunes version in iTunes >About or Help>about. Confirmation of these might help Also in your Limewire options or preferences can you tell me if there is an option for iTunes? Does this "what's new"folder have a purple square icon (smart playlist) or a note in a single light blue square (ordinary playlist) ..... as on my iTunes (5.0.1) anything going into any playlist folder is also automatically loaded into the iTunes Library. Or is this a different icon near the top of the folder list (I never realised before how hard these stupid icons are to describe) |
