3 Quick Questions

1. When I clear inactive files, what happens to the incomplete downloads in my incomplete file?

2. How do I remove the varify feature once a file has completed downloading?

3. Why do the new files I try to download, begin to download immediatly. But previous files still need more sources?

1. I think I only used that function once. I suspect the incomplete files will remain in your incomplete folder. (a) What you can do if you don't want them is, go to your incomplete folder on your computer. Arrange them by date, then send those to recycle bin that are older than the date you cleared the inactive files. (b) If you made a mistake & want to reactive those incompletes so they reappear on the downld window, go to LW's Library window, select incomplete folder, select all the files by holding down the SHIFT key & pressing control-a. Then press the Resume button.

2. The verify function is built in & cannot be removed. It checks the hash file that was originally downlded (the moment you selected it from the search results) & compares it to the completed file to make sure all details are identical.

3. Because the sources are still active & available. To find sources for incomplete files, the best way is to re-search the topic to help find fresh sources for them.
