Trouble with Firewall dropping Downloads
 

My office recently got a sonicwall firewall. I am having trouble downloading files from behind the firewall. All the files I download are the first few seconds of the song played over and over again. I have tried to configure the firewall with little sucess. Can anyone help?

Then use the tips here Firewall configuration instructions (click on link) such as adding Gnutella/LimeWire or/& javaw.exe
I don't know if you also need to clear port 6346 such as some FW's require.

The solution of the problem is the following: In the console of administration of the SonicWall should be added to the Exclusion List the IP of your PC. This should be done in the option:
Security Services/Gateway Anti-Virus/Configure Gateway AV Settings
Security Services/Instrusion Prevention/Configure IPS Settings
Security Services/Anti-Spyware/Configure Anti-Spyware Settings

It be assured to have an Antivirus, IPS and Anti-Spyware in its PC.

And how to add LimeWire to the list? Or is that all you need to do? Anything more specific needed in the instructions of how to allow LW full access?
