6 hours later still cant download anything, paid the money, what a rip off.....................Have diabled the firwalls got a virus whilst trying..................what a b mess..............HOW THE HELL DO YOU GET A DOWNLOAD....it wont even get the bbbb Beatles HELP.............................................. ..............

I presume you're talking about limewire right? It's hard to know because you didn't say & posted in the incorrect section. Forum Rules (click here) You have left absolutely no details to your problem. BTW how much did you pay? Membership? - **WARNING ** - Download p2p Clients ONLY Thru Official Sites (click on link) will soon let you know if you paid your money to the official site. Since all the gnutella programs that this forum caters for (yes not only limewire), they all have a free version which people are expected to try 1st to sort out any problems so they don't say what you said.

Can you give us a total desciption of your set up:
1. OS version? (eg: Windows 98)
2. What firewalls you have?
3. How much ram?
4. Hard Disk space available?
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.)
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers?
7. Where are you trying to connect from (home, school, work, etc.)?
8. What version of Limewire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version.
9. Who is your isp provider (Internet Service Provider)?
10. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up.
11. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there?
12. Do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False?

Did you configure your firewall so it allows LW full access (advisable not to have 2 active firewalls b/c they can interfere with each other); Firewall configuration instructions (click on link)

That says it all you have been scammed, LW is free for the basic version and if you then chose to upgrade it is $18.88 for the pro version. Contact the scam site and try to get your money back if that fails contact your credit card company and let them know of this scam site. Unistall the crap lw you have as it obviously doesn't work and get LW from the official LW site (which you will find the link in one of the stickies in this forum).

Good luck.. make sure you stand up and be heard and don't let that scam site get away with it.

Hi again thanks for giving me the bad news.I have managed to stop payment,agn thanks for the prompt reply.Dont forget everyone its 'MY Music.INC'..........recomended site for downloads........google....be carefull.

Oh I didn't see that you had stopped payment. Good! :) I would recommend getting LW Basic for starters as it's FREE. Then see if you like it or not & sort any problems out whilst you're learning to use it. Then consider getting pro. I would also recommend the Offline installer.

Oh I see what you mean. Their downld server seems to be down. Perhaps overloaded. lol :D :rolleyes: Try again later I would suggest until they've sorted it out. ;)
