doesnt stop getting porn archives i didnt want to download

Hi i have limewire basic and it doesnt stop getting porn archives that i didnt want to donwload. I did ignore the adult option but still does the same, so what a i have unistalled the program and in c/ i have in share all this archives. I would like to install it again. Does anybody can tell me what to do to bock all this dirty archives? Tnaks a million. Jose

Dear Jose

There are things you can do to limit the number of porn files that appear in your searches.

1) Use the "Adult" filter to filter out film titles with containing the word "adult".

2) Note the IP addresses where most of the porn films are coming from and put those IP addresses in LW's IP filter.

3) Use the word filter to bar anything that is "XXX", R17 or anything else that means or indicates "adult content".

Unfortunately, LW cannot block wrongly labelled files, i.e. porn files that have been renamed with an innocent sounding title.

If you have children to protect then I strongly recommend that you are with them when they use LW. Remember, the LW Org. has no control over the content P2P members from all around the world may hold on their PCs or want to share.
