gday everyone,
i was just wondering if somebody will kindly tell me what is type asx for search results. they are only a couple of Kb big in file size and downloading them is pretty pointless for me because I dont know if they are just dud downloads, or i dont know how to open them properly or something. be kind, i suck at technology. thanks! jstring |

They are links to ASF (Microsoft movie) files. They are sometimes used on webpages, but downloading them from p2p sounds fishy to me.

An ASX file usually links to the source of the movie. ASX files are pretty small most of the time as they don't actually contain the movie.
