Unhappy Where did my Library go?

I have been using Limewire for a while now, I had accumulated around 80 songs when something went wrong. I decided to rename the library folder, and after I re-named it I closed limewire. When I re-opened it I found that all of my files had some how dissapeared and now I am left with no files. I was able to find these files on my computer but it still is annoying that I had to go searching for them. Does anyone know why my songs did that?

Thank you,
Hyperme408

Go to Tools>Options. Under Sharing, check to see that the path is pointing to where your files are stored.

I have both my saving and sharing path pointing to the default.
If you change the location of your files on your 'C' drive to something different, you will have to change the path in LimeWire to the same place.

Good Luck

I'd like to thank you very much for your help with my issues with Limewire. Unfortunately when I tried to redirect the music to different folders I was still unable to find my missing music. Once again I was lucky enough that I was able to find my music on my computer, but it would still be nice to have the list of downloaded music back on to Limewire. If anyone has any other suggestions I'd be very greatful Have a great night and thank you again for trying to help .

Don't exactly know what is wrong. Are your files in the LimeWire folder, but you have changed the name of the sub-folder 'Shared ' to something else?

Have you tried to rename it back to Shared. LimeWire is looking for this folder!!
