Slow d/l speed (tried many things already)
 

hey guys. same problems as many, but no results with what i've seen.

i'm on a high-speed DSL connection (the highest of the 3 speeds, forgot exact speed), yet i download from p2p file-sharing programs at a realllllly slow pace. I d/l off the web at around 800kb/sec and on these programs i only d/l at around 5.. maybe.. if im lucky..

i'm using WinXP w/ all the updates
i have norton firewall, but i gave LW full access
this problems has been with various p2p file-sharing programs. not just LW.
I already have configured the options according to the tips of one of the stickys.

dont know what else to say. if any more info would be of any help, just let me know. i would really like to resolve this. thx all.

Your ISP is probably limiting P2P networks the link below might help also you might want to read the Stickies in the connection problems section about ISP that block and filter P2P networks.
