Won't download using Mac OSX
 
All of a sudden, the last few days, I can start LimeWire and run a search for songs, but when I click on the songs, I get a "Connecting" message with a constand "0%", and no downloads.

My Internet connection is at full strength.

I tried upgrading to Pro, but still the same problems.

I also followed the Limewire firewall instructions, but can't find Gnutella listed on that menu.

HELP !!!!!!!!!

which OSX are you using?

In mine you go to System Preferences>Internet and Network>Sharing>Firewall>New Port Name > and you should find Gnutella/Limewire (6346)

Otherwise you can, I imagine, enter it under "other"

I have tried exactly that, and Gnutella/Limewire does not appear in the field.

If it doesn't appear, you can add it yourself. Go to System prefs>Sharing>Firewalls & press the 'New' button. Then select 'Other' at the bottom of the list & add Gnutella/Limewire & then port 6346 in the port field.
As with Only A Hobo, mine appeared automatically. I don't know whether it's because LW is already open.

I was able to add "Gnutella/Limewire" manually, and included 6346 in the port number. I did this before opening Limewire.

I am still having the same problem. Getting plenty of songs in the list, and able to select one to download, however the download stays on 0% progress. Further, all songs are assigned an icon in my "Incomplete folder".

I am running the Pro version and have a "Turbo-charged Connection".

Can you give us a total desciption of your set up:
1. OS version? (eg: OS 10.2.6)
2. What firewalls you have?
3. How much ram?
4. Hard Disk space available?
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.)
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers?
7. Where are you trying to connect from (home, school, work, etc.)?
8. What version of Limewire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version.
9. Who is your isp provider (Internet Service Provider)?
10. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up.
11. Do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False?
