Downloading Programmes!!!

Ive tried downloading a lot of files but they all dont work! When I press launch on them, the only files that comes up is a file called "setup."

Please somebody help me, im only 14.

I would be very careful with .exe files...the majority are infested with virii..make sure to at least use the bitzi option to see if there are any reports about the veracity of the file
