Downloading problem Ok here is my problem I download a file, and i can't locate it anywhere! i looked to see where all my files go and it wasn't there. and then i went in my library and it wasn't there! Where did it go?!? It took me 12 hours to download so i don't wanna download it again...any suggestions? |
Look in the incomplete folder |
it is not there believe me i looked everywhere! |
I see a possible solution: you went into the LW options and specified a new save folder but didn't set it up for sharing. Go into the LW options and then click Saving. Check the path that is written there and browse to that location in your browser. |
nope not there:( |
Was the file 100% downlded? If yes, then for quick & easy access to get it: Go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) Also, go to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>Saving & this will tell you the location of the LW downld folder. Do you have all your downlds going to the one folder? It is possible to split them with LW 4.9 into the media types of Audio, Video, Docs, etc. If the file was not completely downlded, go back to Tools>Options>Saving & make sure Days to keep incomplete files, is set to a large number. Change it to 999 for example. Because if this was set to a small no. & the no. of days since you started downlding it has passed & it was still incomplete, then it might have been deleted. |
i'm just gonna give up, i did a full system search and can't find it..aarg! |
