hey! im a new user of lime wire... couls someone please tell me about the saved files... i saved my files and when i logged in today i couldnt find it!!!! does anyone know where i can find them???? HELP....
and also does "speed" has to match ur PC's speed

tools->options->saving should show the location of your saved files

yes, speed should be your actual connection speed

thanx alot. but there r some songs that dont have the same "speed" as my PC... what should i do then?
ohh and one more thing... i downloaded few songs and when the dwnld was completed.. the song wouldnt play... this has happened many times... could u tell me why???

If you mean the speed of the person your d/ling from then it doesn't matter. You can d/l from any host shown in the search results.Some of those files might be corrupt files that are intentionally shared on the network to discourage file sharing.

Beware of the option about Days to keep incomplete files. By default this is 7. It might be wise to change this to something like 999.

hey guys....... i did press the restore default button but it made no difference.. i mean the same thing is happening ie. the songs dont launch... plus their icon changes as soon as they come in saved files
help needed desparately
