![]() Hi LOTR Thanks for the reply. Bug report = Received incoming this session: false My router is Dlink DI 604 with two other PCs connected to it but both off while I try to fix this. I'm not using any other P2P programs. I've been reading other posts about Port Forwarding but I'm no expert so not really sure what I'm doing. I followed the instructions about setting up a static IP for this model of router and that appears to have worked. At least I can still connect to the web ok. I also tried entering the internal and external Gnutella ports in Windows Firewall to 35496 but again, have no clear understanding of this as yet. As I say, the internet connection seem unaffected but any download in LW is still 0 kbs. Trevor [Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False? 2. If false then you have a firewall issue. It'd be my guess it's due to your new modem/router. Which brand & model of device is it? Most DSL/ADSL devices use NAT which is a type of firewall. 3. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up. BTW rather than go without a firewall at all, it's better to protect yourself by configuring it; (advisable not to have 2 active firewalls b/c they can interfere with each other); Firewall configuration instructions (click on link)
|
