Default an upload from an unshared folder

I am downloading a large file now and I happened to checked the monitor and I noticed that the file I am downloading is being uploaded by someone at the same time that I am downloading it from the "Incomplete" folder. The thing is I did not list the limewire "Incomplete" folder in Options/shared folders as an approved folder for sharing. How do I stop this from happening?
Thanks for your help.

You can change that by starting LW and go to Tools>Options>Sharing>Basic> then untick the box that says "Allow Partial Sharing" then click apply.

This happens by default with all partial downloads, as it supposedly helps the network. There are 2 sides to the argument and I tend to think that if the file is incorrectly named, corrupt or worse, then it does nothing to help the network

6pac beat me with the cure

Partial downlds help people to get faster downlds. Even though the file might be incomplete, what has been downlded can add to other people's downlds in a similar fashion to having extra sources to download from. And downlds will generally be faster & more reliable if you're downlding from more than one source.

As long as you haven't added your incomplete folder to your shared list of folders (very bad!) then allowing partial downlds is fine. Though you can also consider Only A Hobo's comment.
