Default Firewall Problems

I am hoping someone can help me out here. I have Livewire Pro on a DSL connection. I am using McAffee Security Center with spam protection firewall and all that good stuff. Every once in while my Limewire account will show that there is a firewall blocking my Limewire availability. I have checked my firewall and McAffee says that Limewire has full access. It does turn off after a while, sometimes it is half a day sometimes ten minutes later. Does anyone know what could be happening and how I can avoid it in the future. Thanks so much for any input you can give. Thanks, Granpa

Did you configure your firewall so it allows LW full access (advisable not to have 2 active firewalls b/c they can interfere with each other); Firewall configuration instructions (click on link)

The issue might be your modem/router if it has a NAT firewall & most adsl modems do. What brand & model of modem/router do you have?

Check your spam firewall to make sure if LW needs permission to connect to the net.

After LW's been open for 15+ mins, Do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False?

Yup, if you've configured your firewall, it'll probaly just be your router.
