Since i've upgraded my lime wire for 4.10, it wont let me see a preview of the files i am downloading. I am very sad cause thats a feature i was using a lot.
Someone can help me????

What type of previes do you mean? Videos or audio files? See means something I guess lol Make sure your video program is the default for the type of video file you're trying to preview. eg: Setting Default video app

BTW for previewing I'd recommend VLC - (click on link) _ (choose nearest mirror site) as it has in-built codecs & is generally very reliable. To see what it can do see http://www.videolan.org/vlc/features.html which includes audio formats, video & audio streaming, cd & dvd & vcd playback, etc. You can also downld extra skins for it.

and preview doesnt work for both,, audio and video,, but it use to work fine with the old version....

That's odd. I would still recommend VLC. I use VLC for some video types & QuickTime for one or 2 other video formats as the default in OSX.

Perhaps try deleting LW preferences whilst LW is CLOSED. You'll find it here: /Users/your_username/Library/Preferences/LimeWire

Tell us if it makes any difference.

Also, it might be worth doing this SAFE Boot & Repair Permissions As this is generally recommended after installing new software or system updates.

BTW what do you use to preview audio files with? VLC can also play most audio formats even though it's fundamentally a video program; http://www.videolan.org/vlc/features.html
I use VLC for most of my audio streaming (occasionally use iTunes.)

i did the repairing permissions on my disc and it worked fine,
i can use the previews again.
i just downloaded the VLC, and im impatient to try it,, i was always disapointed about quick time who wont run avi. and etc.... but i think you solved my problem!

hey, i downloaded VLC,, but it wont open my previews...i tried to set it up in LW preferrences,, didnt work..could you help for that??
but once the file is complete its good,, thanks again for the advice!
