Just Wanting To Help Others Upload More Quickly

I HAVE A DELL DEMINSION. I AM RUNNING LIMEWIRE VER. 4.10. I HAVE ROADRUNNER CABLE @ 2967.3Kbps. I HAVE LOOKED ALL OVER THE FORUMS AND CANNOT FIND AN ANSWER TO THIS. MAYBE BECAUSE THERE IS NO ANSWER. BUT IS IT POSSIBLE FOR OTHERS TO UPLOAD AT A FASTER PACE FROM ME? IF SO HOW?
I BELEIVE ALL MY SETTINGS ARE THE BEST POSSIBLE ACCORDING TO THE ADVICE GIVEN BY OTHERS. JUST WANTING TO HELP.:)

Hi Mr. Method.

Can I ask you a little favour to please not write in capital letters as it is hard to read and is taken to mean you are shouting:)

A speed test of your ACTUAL uploading speed would be a good first step There are many sites, and this is one:- http://www.dslreports.com/stest . a number of tests from different sites and at different times of day produce a more accurate picture.

With a speed of 2967 kb/s (kilobits/second) you should in theory be able to upload at a rate of about 370 KB/s (kilobytes / second) or say 20 simultaneous uploads at 18.5 KB/second. although your upload speed would normally be quite a bit less than your download speed.

In practice, it is very unlikely you will achieve this, as for onething, many users will have a download ability MUCH sower than yours.

This is not a complete answer, but see if it makes sense and feel free to ask more:) and a big thanks for being a willing sharer:D:D

Just wanted to say thank you for your feedback. It was helpful and I will no longer use all caps. My bad. Although, I notice that the upload speed for most of the uploads are only about 2-5KB/s. Is this something I am doing? Could I configure my settings better? Your help is much appreciated.:) :)
