virus can someone give a newbie some general advice on how to spot the trojans etc. I'm new here and have quite a collection already. Avg has done its job so far but as they say forwarned is forarmed. thanks |
Ignore files less than 1 MB (1000 KB). Be wary of downlding programs. Always use your anti-virus program to check "all" new downlds before attempting to open them. Here's some clues to spot them & also some other utilities worth getting: WARNING: Viruses on network you should be aware of! (click on link) |
Also make sure you scan any Zip. documents before extracting them. Its saved me from getting many a virus. |
