questions on download speeds for dial up connectio my connection speed is 26.4Kbps running windows 2000 xp no firewall detected by limewire downloading from cable dsl or higher only uaually only getting 2 /KB on 1 host will pull 2.9 on 2hosts have never got more than 2 hosts now the questions?????????????????????? are these things normal? should i be getting faster download speeds i understand this is a slow connection but what speeds are normal??? any and all information would be appreciated!! |

reply to hobo understand the speed thing that is all i can get Why then do i gain 1 K when i go from 1 host to 2 hosts and also what about the host thing of only getting 2!!No major problem cause im getting all i can pull but what decides how many hosts you get??? I understand the more available hosts their are the better odds of a completed download and i read that sum people have 5 or more hosts.Y do i only recieve 1 or at most 2??? |
