When a download says you need more sorces it means that theres not enough info online to download the file or your search is to far out. Try searching more specificly for the file that needs more sorces so it can download the file. It's like providing the search engine with what you want.

Default how to play files??

may have done this wrong, as it isn't a reply, but another question...

we have an avi. file movie on our hard drive, which when we open in media player, only plays the sound, we also have nero 6, and a program called dvdfab decrypter, none of these seem to be able to play the video as well as the sound, is there something daft we are doing wong, or do we need more software??

thanks anyone who can help..

You may need to install the proper codex for your player. Some avi's and video files require certain codex to play. Try installing DivX.

You can download it here. http://www.divx.com/divx/play/
It's a free program and will make WMP play avi files properly.

If that doesnt work, your file may be corrupted.

VLC media player is also highly recommended it has all the codecs already built in and is a free download as well...
The dycrypter you have would be for lets say decrypting store dvds.....

thank loads to both of you, am downloading the player now, have a feeling i may still need to pester the folks on this site for many weeks to come, i'll let you know how things are going..
and another thing, we're on limewire, but haven't figured out how to get any of our own music into the site for sharing, is there a simple way? it needs to be simple because we spent a night trying to load our girls' mp3 players with stuff, and that's supposed to be a one step process!
