download limit

Is there an upper limit, (imposed and/or practicle) on the number of files queued for download? I realize that they may not be online at the time, but if 'queued' and 'awaiting sources' reaches this unknown limit I may be imposing too great a load or demand without knowing it. Thank you. By the way, this is the best file sharing app I have used!

You might want to browse the forums sticky notes as they will contain all the info you might be looking for. There are limits set by the hosts and or user under options, tools. and all P2P apps do set their own on the number of hosts/uploads etc. If that is what you are referring too? ;)

It is best not to have too many files in Q. It does affect your ability to connect when you start up it also uses up bandwidth if these files are searching for sources and can slow down you download speeds. I have also found that if you have to many files Qed LimeWire seems to have a harder time finding sources for the files. As far as the number goes that is something you Will have to experiment with.
