Lord of the Rings has a distinguished reputation

Try the 3 options here Fixes for Limewire & uninstall Java using your Add/Remove control panel. Then install using the "Offline" Java installer.

It might also be worth reinstalling LW using the "Offline" installer. But no uninstallation necessary as LW will uninstall at the beginning of installation.
