need more sources
 

Limewire was working great, then all of a sudden, every time I click on something to download it sits for a good 5 min and then tells me I need more sources. I know full well there are plenty of sources and I've never had this problem before. I reinstalled LW and it didn't fix it. Is this a bug? I've dealt with firewall issues and that hasn't been a problem. The searches I pick to download have at least 5 or more people with the same file.

What type of file are you trying to download? If it's a movie file there tend to be a lot of fake files being circulated on the network. Use Bitzi to help sort out the fakes. Also the more popular current music files will tend to have more fakes.

Another thing you can do is to search for the file in different ways. First search for the title, then the artist, then under just audio, then all types ect. Mix the searches up. As LW finds more sources it will add them to your download.
