How do i upload my own songs
 

hi how do i upload my own songs that i made an produced so they will come up when someone searches my name?

1. Tag them properly with id3 tags. Put your name in both the file name & the id3 tag artist name. I've been told this tag tool is very good http://massid3lib.sourceforge.net/ as you can just hover your cursor over the file to see its id3 tag. Similar I guess to how you do that in LW.

In normal circumstances you can't find your own files when you do a search. To check if any of your files are being found or not, go to the LW library window, click on the folder which has your shared songs, then look to the column to the right of the files called Hits. This will show you if your files have been found in other people's searches.

ohh so the amount of hits meens the amount of times its come up in a search

Yes, but I don't understand all the columns myself. But for uploads those figures you see are partial downlds. Meaning they're also downlding them from other sources.
