No results when searching
 

I originially had LW 4.2.6 and I had no problems with it for the past year. Then all of the sudden it would not connect. So I tried LW 4.10.9 and I was able to connect at first, but I would search and get no results (I even tried searching for something like Windows, and nothing). Then, LW 4.10.9 would not connect at all. Now, it will connect, but only with a "Fair" connection. So I've spent all weekend installing, uninstalling, deleting the folders, and trying every fix on every post that I've run across.

I scrapped 4.10.9 and reinstalled 4.2.6 and I've got an "excellent" or a "turbo-charged" connection, but when I search I come up with the same problem, no results. And we all know that is not correct. I desperately need some advice here to see if I can fix this problem.

My pc is a Laptop and I use a Wireless connection provided by my Apt. (I'm working on a project in CA so I'm not into a hardline, and let me say that I've been here for 6 months with no problems before the last two weeks). I'm running XP home version and I have plent of HD space, plenty of memory, etc etc. I tried some other P2P programs like Shareaza and Azereus and they both work, well, sort of (at least I can get some results) so I'm truly at a loss here. Any help would be most appreciated.
(yes, 6346 works, I've tried the test, I have no other problems with my speed or connection, it just seems to be LW)
