You can't normally find your own files when you search. You could try getting your friends to direct connect to you, then they can browse your files. There's some info here on using d/connect

(if both of you have chat enabled, there's a better chance of success)

If nobody can upload from you, there might be firewall issues. Go tools > options > bug reports > view example. Scroll down til you see "recieved incoming this session". Is it true or false?
