Reduced Search Results Curious. Is it just me or are others getting fewer results from searches than they used to? More and more it seems that my searches are coming up empty when searches in the past using the same keywords returned regular results. Thanks! |
Downld a magnet link file from here & tell us in detail how it goes: http://www.magnetmix.com/video.shtml BTW Do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False? |
LOR, I was able to download the file but the test came back with a false reading. When I went to the system preferences application and went to the firewall tab. Limewire (Gnutella) was not an option to select from the drop down list. Next Steps? Thx! |
mine came back true... what does this mean |
Additional info. I noticed that I did not have the latest version of 4.10 PRO, so I downloaded the update and reset the defaults. I then typed in Adobe as a test, knowing that there should be tons of Acrobat Reader programs out there (and not violating copyrights or licenses). Very little turned up, which is representative of the original problem I inquired about. Next steps? |
Which operating system do you have? You may need to add the gnutella/limewire to your firewall list. See instructions here Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link) & check to be sure UPnP is enabled on your modem/router. If you're using Mac OS X, then you can check the instructions for Tiger since they're not too different to the earlier OSX instructions. Quote:
