negative download times

Hey I usually get alot of help from LOR, But If anyone can help or tell me if anyone else is having same problems I would appreciate it.
I have files that show 112% + in progress and are still downloading at normal speeds maybe slight higher than normal. 14kps to 20+ kps each. They do not save to folders and show an remaining time in negatives. Like -5:20:49 and going up. The percentile of progress is also increasing. 112%, 113%, etc. It is asif it were downloading the same file in a loop or something. I can not open it. In preview my media player just freezes or keeps kicking to minumized. I use several different Media players so the file is the problem but it is alot of files not just a few.
Thanks, Shaun

Hi shaun

I'm assuming you are using the latest version of LW (currently 4.10.9) and have some experience avoiding corrupt files.

If you turn on the extended tooltips in the downloads section of the Search Pane (right-click a download column header to get at the extra options), check the info about "chunks corrupted."

LW will retry to download those corrupted chunks several times before giving up.

Perhaps that is why it looks like the file is downloading more than 100%. Re the negative times, that looks like a display problem that LW might like to fix. The LW developers are more likely to read the Beta forum at http://www.gnutellaforums.com/forumd...?s=&forumid=21

100+%

Yeah they might or not. Thank you though. It just sort of tripped me for the day. I have a few that have frozen at 100% progress too, so when I saw it going above 100% and neg. ETA times I just wanted to see if anyone else had the same things or if I needed to reinstall.
I have anti-virus set to even scan zip files in or outgoing. It slows stuff down too and might cause some probs.
Thank you again.
Shaun
