What did I pay for?

I recently bought Limewire Pro and I'm left wondering what exactly I paid for. First of all, the download speed has not changed in the slightest and the support promised isn't available because every time I enter my email address to receive it, I get linked to a page asking me to buy Pro!

I'm running on Mac OSX and have a broadband connection which is experiencing no problems. There are no firewall or java issues, so what exactly is going on? Download speed is unbearably slow and stays between 1-7kb/s.

Downld speed depends upon your sources. Yes LW pro allows you to connect to 5 peers instead of 3. It also allows you to downld from 10 hosts simultaneously for each downld compared to 8 for Basic. This allows better search results (paricularly for rarer files) & faster downlds if you can connect to 10 hosts per downld.

If you bought pro, then it will say pro on the program interface, else go to the LimeWire icon on the menu bar (next to the apple icon) & select it, then select the option for About LW, & this will tell you whether you are running LW Pro.

I have doubts because your email address should work. That's of course only "if" you purchased your LW pro from the Official LW site. If they don't have your money & details then you didn't purchase it from pro. Check your credit card statement. Does it say LW.org or somewhere else? Thanks for the reply. I checked and it says it's pro. I bought it from the page LW basic linked me to in the pop up upon opening. I purchased through paypal and it says it's from Limewire.com

Any ideas?
