 Yes, it was a scam. LW basic is free & Pro costs US$18.88 for 6 months of updates & email support. There's no lifetime membership & no extra software given. You should contact your bank/CC company & report it, with luck you'll ba able to get your money back. Just watch your statements, make sure no extra payments come out! I'd remove the scam spyware pgm, it's probably crap & might cause problems when you try & use your comp  * You should probably get rid of the scam LW...it might have add/spyware in it. The only place to get a clean version is www.limewire.com  |
