Resume *.dat file

Hi
I used to download files from Kazaa (K-Lite),,, but after I reinstalled my windows it is not connecting anymore... I have tried everything but it is not workin... the problem is that i am a dialup user... and two of my downloads were being downlaoded on Kazaa... one was Smallville season 4 episode 22 (580 Mb done of 715Mb) the second was Smallville - 515 - Cyborg.avi(280Mb done of 350Mb)... Now as i spent lots of time downloading them... i really dont want to download them from scratch on LimeWire... can anyone tell me a way to Resume the *.dat files in LimeWire. I've checked the files with VLC Media Player. They are perfectly fine. and the LimeWire file i am currently downloading is named as T-367720448-SMALLVILLE - 515 - Cyborg.avi (11Mb) i can easily name my Dat file to this and overwrite it, but i am not sure what to do to the "download.dat" file of LimeWire. Please help

Thanks

Umm please remove any file names you have in your thread it is against the rules to talk about piracy. And I very seriously doubt you will be able to resume your other files. I know that WinMx files would not resume in LimeWire so I doubt that Kazaa files will either.

The file i mentioned is not Against Piracy. It is not a released DVD or VCD or anything like that. It is a User Recorded Tv Serial Episode.

One thing I've learned while using Computers is that Nothing is Impossible Except "Impossible". I'll keep researching. Thanks for your reply.

Are you claiming you have copyright authority from the producers of Smallville? :p

You will have to decipher the format of LimeWire data files and then create a
completely new program. If you manage to do it maybe you'll find a use for the
program but it'll save you a lot of time to just delete those stale downloads and
start over.
