Can't Download Anything

I have optimum online but i found a working port and i have 3 green bars for connection.

I search for songs and i get results but every single song i try to download it never downloads,i always either get "Connecting","need more sources" or "waiting on busy hosts"

What could the problem be?

The problem seems to be that Optimum Online has done something to many of us here in NY that is preventing us from using P2P. They will not admit it because it is illegal for them to do so, but that is what is going on.
I don't see any solotion at this point.
We have no alternative providers.
