how to adjust speed?

hey guys,im new to lime wire,i usaully use bearshare but i heard good things so i purchased limewire pro.my question is,can you only download tunes that have that green number beside it?i think that number implies how many people you can download from?cause there are songs that i would like to have but wont download cause there is no sources.
also,is there anyway i can bump up my download speed?

thanks guys

If you don't see numbers in the # column, just means there's one host sharing that file. Don't let that stop you from downloading (although you'll get faster download speed if you choose a file with multiple hosts)!!

If you try to download something & you get the "need more sources" msg, it usually means that the source(s) are offline & you're better off to start a new search.

This thread has a heap of info about how to configure LW for optimal performance (hopefully increase your dld speed in the process - although this depends a bit on your speed, host speed, host connection, number of hosts you download from etc etc).
