Resuming A Partial Download This has probably been asked already.....but here goes. I was successfully getting a good version of Ice Age, got about 60% of it and had to close my machine down, switch off completely. Came back next day to, hopefully, carry on from where I had left off and, nothing! It wasn't resuming as I thought it would but starting all over again. Am I missing something somewhere? Is there a 'tick' that I should have in a box and haven't? Regards!! |
Have a look in your library tab. Select incomplete left click on the file in question click the resume button at the bottom right of the top window. It should start again, if the file is not here, you are stuffed! |
Thanks for that. Yep - it's in the library and it appears in the search window when LW connects up - but instead of being at 60 or 70% - where it finished last night when I had to switch off - its back to 0% and starts all over again! Have I got to finish a download in one session before I can switch my PC off? Thanks again!! |
Maybe you didn't have LW properly closed before you shut down. This can cause your downloads to start from scratch again. Some more info here http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=49479 |
