PC Freezes Whilst Downloading
 

Whilst downloading, my PC just totally freezes up for me. It won't respond at all and ctrl+alt+del doesn't work. What's wrong?

Sorry but it's still freezing :(

It might be because I didn't get rid of the application data file, but I couldn't find it I even did a search including hidden files and it didn't show up. But I've deleted the prefrences folder too.

What else can I do?

How many files are you trying to download at once? Limit your downloads to just one or two files & see if you still get the freeze.

You could also try dropping your download bandwidth a little. This thread has lots of info about configuring LW

I'm trying to download 2 videos

How fast's your connection? If you have a slow connection, try just downloading 1 episode at a time.

Please don't mention titles for copyright reasons, it's against the forum rules:)

Did you try configuring LW as per the other thread?

My connection is 2.2 mbps. And I did everything that was said in the link

Ummm...have you tried changing skins?
Do you get a grey screen with the freeze? There are some more fixes for freezes here, see if any apply to you

What version of LW are you using & what Java? You did try uninstalling Java & reinstalling LW & Java, right?
