Playback trouble
 

Dear Forum,

I download jazz material and am confused about trying to playback
downloaded tracks that tell me I'm trying to play a Napster track,
and need a license. How is Napster affiliated with Limewire? I'm not
interested in paying for tracks that Limewire claims are free.
Is there anyway around this setback?

In addition, there are several tracks that won't play when I click
the launch button. They aren't designated Napster, nor is there
any other reason stating why they won't play. What's up?

Please advise.

Sounds like you have Napster on your system & there's a default issue. Where does LW say songs are Free? Nowhere! LW does not advertise any such thing. What you're downlding is what others are sharing.

It sounds to me like you're downlding wma or wmv files with the DRM. Well ... What you should know about WMA/WMV Files

LW has nothing to do with Napster.
