Attention

I have Norton Antivirus installed and I am downloading software or movies and time and time again the software is infected with a backdoor virus. Even if you try laplink it downloads a backdoor virus.

SO BE AWARE.

The LIMEWIRE servers are infested with these virii and all seem to be 197.7kb, 69.4kb and 851.7kb

The angry mom is right aswell that limewire is not being used for all the proper reasons of file sharing anymore.

I have even come across real child porn which is very disturbing just by doing keyword "kdv". So watch out. I would suggest uninstalling limewire. As well as you accidently download the wrong thing then the Police come to your door and arrest you for downloading indecent material or illegal file sharing or mp3's breaking copyright. If all of you have noticed by now the IP address which is like 297.1.46.100 CAN be traced by police and FBI.

This is the number appearing at the top of all file sharing done on any network.

So make a stand now and uninstall your copy and get them to sort their servers. EMULE has already had two Razorback servers closed down and the rest will follow soon.

You can not expect to have illegal filesharing continuing. The company whom owns limewire dont realise that they are next for the chopping board.

Hey brian, pull a trick like that again & expect to be banned. This is what you should read before posting on any forum: Forum Rules (click here) Most mods would have banned you already! So keep that in mind.

Yes with the new version of vBulletin, such threads are easily & quickly able to be deleted as soon as they're noticed. That's a major plus for the mods! Rather than having to delete each one individually as was the case before. :p

(#1) In case you didn't know unless you have a license for the software and movies you are downloading it is illegal to download them.

(#2) In case you didn't know LimeWire or the Gnutella network has no servers. The servers are people like you and myself sharing on the network. LimeWire has no control over it.

(#3) Go ahead and make your stand it will not affect LimeWire or the other 2 1/2 million users that are on line as I type this response to your moronic statement's

(#4) It does not matter if they are next on the chopping board as you say. LimeWire is on approximately 5,000,000 computers at last count I heard of. And as I said before there are no servers. Just people, if they close LimeWire down the development of the software will continue it is open source. Anybody can develop it. They cant shut down the the LimeWire servers because there are none.

I bet you feel real intelligent now don't you. Come here spouting off about something you know absolutely nothing about. And that my friend is the definition of a real Moron

Grandpa April 14th, 2006 04:41 PM
