Default LW - d/l and u/l - proper etiquette and when can you kill an upload?

I am very new to p2p and Limewire in particular - but I have learned a few things in the last week or so. One of those was how to browse a host - in my case, I wanted to see if anyone had a better quality file than I did. I went to the 'monitoring' part of LW and saw all of the different hosts that were uploading from me - most I could not browse, or chat or anything else. The few that I could browse ended up being really helpful to me to find the files I wanted. But I also found a few uploaders with libraries full of what appeared to be porn - and in some cases, they had titled names like "kid2kid" etc. I didn't download or open these files - but I wanted to kill their upoloads. I just don't know what the proper etiquette is and I would like to be a "good" newbie - but I also was pretty offended by some of the titles. Again, I didn't look - so I could be wrong about what those files contained, but ick. What's the best course of action? Is there another forum that I should be browsing to find out? I did a general search - but it seems like the download/upload section of the forum is the right place to post this question. Please advise.

Deciding what uploads to interrupt is completely up to you.

When it comes to allowing someone who shares stuff that advertises kiddie porn names-no etiquette is involved: you may want to copy their IP address and report it, but I doubt that will be effective. Chances are it's a 13 yr old kid who has downloaded a bunch of spam after being fooled by ridiculous file names.

When you're not too sure about which forum to choose, try the General Discussion. Your topic is close enoungh for ul/dl problems, but the open discussion would also be appropriate in this case.

Cheers.

btw--many hosts may not be browsable from the Monitor pane, but still be good hosts. "Browse Host" is still unpredictable.
