i just downloaded edited to confrom with house rules re: no discussions of piracy but it wont run until i put in the code - any tricks?

i thought the whole point of using limewire was to avoid paying a ridiculous fee for a program that should come standard with the operating software. come on, i dont even get works with my xp pro - only notepad. that is bs.

It's just that many programs you download won't work because they're missing components, or need CDs or activation codes to run

As with most programmes/software, you need a license code or activation code, which would not be inbuilt within the download. Besides the fact it's illegal, it's not worth the hassle of scouring the web for hacks or scouring limewire for downloads.

Alot of the time, the software in question can tell when an illegal act/code/hack is performed and will then not allow future execution of that programme on your pc. Cue lots of extractiung of files and trying to re-work. Buy the package mate, pain in the ****, yes, easier - definitely
