Downloaded files don't appear in my download folder.
 

After i finish downloading a file, it appears in the library in the Limewire screen, however if i try to locate the file on my computer by just going directly to the folder that limewire saves to no files appear inside. If i use the search option within the windows start menu, the computer can find the file and it is saved under the right directory. From that window I can access the file, so I know it is saved on my computer, in the right location, but the files just don't show up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps the file is hidden?

Try this:

Start > Settings > Folder Options > view

Make sure the bubble that says 'show all files' is filled.

I wish it was something that easy, it's still not working, I recently installled windows XP, and was wondering if there was a compatability issue with XP.

I'm not sure if that's the problem. However, LimeWire is not officially compatible with Windows XP yet. Look for official support in the future.
