 whats wrong with mp3 files? when i download a song (with it half way done) i check to preview it and it sometimes says this file type is not recognized. why does it say that when its an mp3 file? thank u please help  |

| What are you using to preview it with? It might be a good idea to try a different player.

| the player i use the player i use to see mp3 files is limewire media player and other music files i use windows media player. |

| Try previewing the incompletes with Limewire. If you dissable the Limewire player in preferencs, and if wmp is your default player the file will play in wmp ..see if that is ok some files are faulty and won't play in anything
