Corrupted Files
 

Any time I attempt a download - I get a corrupted file error and the song will not play - Any suggestions?:eek:

A fairly newcomer - I am using Pro 4.10.9 - Corruption happens with every file no matter what speed or whatever - Not saving the files anywhere other than the library - have contacted Limewire support and got no help at all

Using Windows XP

Other than that, it could be a trouble-some modem-router not translating properly. Or you may not have your firewalls configured properly. Or you have an aggressive anti-virus or anti-this or that utility that is damaging files before they have completed. Else, try the LW beta 4.12.0 which has lots of improvements in determining what is & what isn't really corrupt: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/beta.shtml (including many other bug fixes & improvements!)

Downloaded Beta - still no help - tried every different type - t3,t1, cable/dsl, modem - everything is corrupted - tried the labeling thing file.mp3 - still nothing -

I just up graded to 4.12.4 Pro. 9 of 10 mp3 files say corrupt. I am fustrated and need some help. I have XP HE Service pak 2.

Funny thing is I paid for this program, It worked 100% for the few weeks I used it and after not launching it for 2 months, I update it and now it dont work.:mad:
