i know ppl have posted alot up about speed and the slowness of there limewire downloads but i dont seem to understand how to sort this problem...please explain!!

also...
i have a conection problem i looked at what lord of the rings has posted up about tools-options-advanced-firewal...then making a note of the listening port number, this helped my problem but then it happened again, i did the same as above but the port number had changed!! im not sure if its ment to so i changed the external and internal numbers for gnuttella to match it!! everything in the connection area is fine i was just inquiring if they are meant to be different.

If it not your firewall nor your port number maybe it is your connection or settings. What tyoe of connection do you have? If it is dial up or ISDN it is going to be fairly slow to download files. If you have DSL or cable then that is obviously not the problem. Perhaps it the settings. Click on Tools>Options>Downloads. Then see what your bandwidth settings are. If they are not all the way up to unlimited that may be the problem.
