99%!!!???

Hi everyone,

I'm having some download problems with the occasional video file. It will download fine up to 99% and then *poof* all sources disappear. It's happened too often to be a coincidence. It remains downloading, but says it's one source at 0kbs. I can sometimes preview the file and sometimes not. Is there some bug that causes this? It only happens with video files and it's too odd be real, since right up to 99% and then sources seem to magically disappear. It can get very frustrating if it's a bigger file.

I'm using Limewire Pro 4.11.1

Any advice??

May I suggest you update to LW 4.12.3 via your personal pro downld page! In those circumstances you can search for more sources or cancel downld & reselect from search results. Or you can preview the end of it to see if anything important is missing. If it's only credits then perhaps cancel from downl window, & move from the incomplete folder. To access, go to LW's Library window, select incomplete folder, press Explore button & the folder will open up for you. You can then copy or drag & drop or cut & paste to where you desire.

This has happened to me as well lots of times, but they always pick up again after a while and finish.

Just be patient. It has sometimes taken up to two and a half hours before download has been completed.

It happens both with 4.9.37Pro, 4.10.3 and 4.10.5

BTW upgraded to 4.10.9Pro yesterday. And it has been all good. A real Improvement from 4.9.37Pro

Nice thanks for the heads up i recently DLed a 1.7G file and found out through my free Icobuster run program that it had 30 missing files>< but telling me about the upgrade since i was running pro 4.11.1 i hope they fixed the problem with 4.11.1 i been getting alot of connection problems like it would goto turbo then 15 min later it would goto good connection so i would have to right click and exit limewire in tray then restart to get turbo connection again idk what the problem with it is i just know i'm reDling the file to hopefully catch the missing files as u said " the new batch will let me see if somethings missing" i hope if not then i gotta buy pro Icobuster to retrieve the missing file and just wasted the overwrite DL time>< :D

Just an update...as of yet, have not had the same problem with LWPro14.12.3. I have to download a large file though. Fingers crossed :)

Think I'll just fiddle a bit with 4.10.9 first. Take it in small steps so I don't get too overwhelmed. Great first impression I must say :D

Also regarding the browser highjacks. I don't think I'll get "Napstered";)

Have a bit of experience now (know what to search and what to download)
