Music Video Problem

I'm trying to search for specific music video's but all that can be typed is the song title. Why isn't the music video section of Limewire the same as the audio section where artist AND title can be searched for ? When searching for a specific music video loads of video's that have nothing to do with the title that I'm asking for turn up. How do I search for the actual music video I want to download ?

You'd be better off not to use the "Type" option and just search for the artist name and or title under the Video search. You can use the type search if you just want some ideas of whats out there, otherwise you get too many irrelavant results.

Thanks for the reply, BUT, I already do what you have suggested i.e. type in artist name or song (video) title but still get irrelavant results. Why can't I first of all select 'Music Video' then artists name AND song/video title just as I do when downloading audio tracks ? In other words why is it impossible to search for music video in the same way as I do with audio tracks ? We have a 'title' box but no 'artist' box. Why ? Sorry if I'm a wee bit long winded about this. One more thing. I had to open my e-mail to read your reply. How do I go about reading any future replies simply within the forum, without having to go to my mail ? Where can I look at a glossary of what all the icons mean ?

You'll just have to keep trying with the search to see what work best for you. To my knowledge there are no real tricks to it. If you have any suggestions, you can post them in the New Feature Requests section of the forums.

When your logged into the forums and you want to see if anyone has replied to any of your subscribed threads. Click on the "User CP" link. It's always in the upper left of any forum page. It will show a list of any new replies since your last visit.

For the other icons, just put your mouse on them and it'll show what they mean. Also you might want to have a look through the forum FAQ, the link is right beside the User CP link;) .

Thanks again for the reply. I'll just keep plugging away. Perhaps Limewire themselves should consider re-designing the music video section so that we can type in BOTH artist AND title so as to avoid loads of unwanted video's.
