The other day I was able to successfully download some large video files. Today, every single one of them has given me a disk error. Initially, my save folder was on an external hard disk, so I thought that the hard disk might be giving me trouble, so I changed it to a folder on my PC's hard disk, but I still get the error. The file's progress jumps to 100%, says "Disk Error" and the file itself just stays in the incomplete folder with the incomplete filename that is "T-*****" whatever. Does anyone have any explanation? Limewire 4.10.9, Java 1.5.0_01, Windows XP Home, Comcast...
Every file I try to download gives me a disk error. Is the problem the files I'm downloading, or where I'm putting them, or what? I'm very frustrated... OK. Now I'm pissed off. every single freaking file i try to download gives me a disk error, and nobody feels like helping me out. I've turned off my firewall, I've switched locations twice... I have no idea what is wrong. Help me please? Last edited by guiswim; July 5th, 2006 at 07:49 AM. |
