I go to download something and I queued for ages. I leave it on for hours, still queued. I open it up again the next day, still queued. So I tried to download differnet media, video and song. QUEUED. Different files, many different files and I'm still queued.

I do not have my firewall up, my connection is ready, but I cannot download a thing. I have a Cable connection, somewhere around 40KB/s I believe, Windows XP running on a computer not even a year old.

Has anyone had this problem? Or can anyone help me?

Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface?

Be wary of fake results which are obvious by their high no. of search results. If you see results with 101 or one, 100 for the next, 99, etc. then ignore them because you'll never downld them. And instead, choose those with only about 10 or 20 sources.

Also, make a note of all your LW settings & do this: Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.)

No, my firewall is down for Limewire and I know about the fake results. Deleting the preference file worked though, thanks a lot! C:
