Resume downloads after disconnection.
 

While downloading a file from a source if i disconnect and reconnect Limewire connection does it download from the same source? Will there be a slow down in downloading?
The reason why I am asking this is because whenever I want more sources I disconnect and connect in order that I jump a supernode.

It doesn't matter whether it's the same source. The question is whether someone has an identical copy of the file for sharing & being online at the same time you are. Yes, sometimes you can connect to the same source, sometimes not depending on whether they're online/not & whether they have free upload slots & bandwidth.

Does connection to a particular source depends on which supernode I have connected to?
After the connection to a particular node(that is having an active download from a source) if I disconnect from the supernode will I still maintain contact to that source?
