Default Webpage Opened On Download Request

Hi,

Is anyone experiencing a website being loaded when a download has been requested?

This is the website that keeps getting loaded. Not with every download but alot of them.

Those search results you're using to download the file you want are most likely spam or faked files (especially when they have up to several hundred hosts).

Try to chosse files with some 20 hosts or less.

A lot of hosts doesn't always mean that it's spam. Thy usually have really long capitalized titles, though.

Yeah, the same thing is happening to me. I'm using an older version though. Version 4.10.9. Whenever I try to download a file, it will give me a webpage. Usually either artistdirect.com or napster.com. There have been some other pages that have popped up, but these are the most numerous. I'm not sure if it's spam or a virus. But I'll try downloading a new version to see if I can get rid of the problem. If not, I'll try troubleshooting a little more. Thanks for the help and advice everyone.
