Is there a limit?
 

When downloading various song files and video files, is there a limit of megabytes that you are allowed in total? Or can you just download as much as you want. Because when downloading the video files they are quite big.

As much as you want. But ... I think the maximum for file sizes for sharing is 2 GB per file or there-abouts.

Like if you download a certain amout of megabytes or gigabytes then the limewire program expires or shuts down.

It means all the lights turn off, then suddenly flashing red lights .. then the walls feel like they're falling in onto you. :D Only joking, .. simply ... LW won't recognise any file to share if much more than 2 GB in size. I'm not sure of the exact size.

This may change in the future but is how it is at the moment. ;)
